Chapter Overview:
If you were to ask most people in your life if they have ever been “stressed” all of these people would have said, “Yes”. People have experienced stress for various reasons. You may have felt stress before your last big exam, you may have been stressed while trying to figure out a complicated math problem, or you may have experienced stress after a disagreement with your parents. There are so many different stressors in the world. In this chapter you will learn about the main types of stressors in our society, understand how stress affects the body, and ways you can control and minimize stress in your lives.
