Section 6.1 Classical Conditioning
This section looks at the origins of learning. The first major contribution was a Russian physiologist, Ivan Pavlov, in the early 1900s. Pavlov’s work with dogs and associations was followed by an American, John Watson, who expanded Pavlov’s theories and put behaviourism at the forefront of the psychological world.
