Section 7.1 The Nature of Memory
This section looks at what psychologists define as memory. In order to explore the concept of memory, you will need to understand the four common memory models: Information-Processing Approach, Parallel Distributed Processing Model, Levels of Processing, and the Traditional Three-Stage Model. Each model has a unique way of understanding how human memory works. Most psychologists have adopted the Traditional Three-Stage Model as the most comprehensive theory, as evidenced by the application of this model on how to improve student life/studying.
