Section 8.2 Language:

In this section you will learn about the foundations of language, how it develops, and discuss whether animals are capable of attaining language. All of us did not just learn language magically. Some researchers argue that language development is innate, while others believe that it is a learned process. What do you think? Try to think of it this way, we all start off at the same level of language (cooing), but somehow one person learns English, another learns French, and another learns Chinese…is this innate, could I have learned Chinese instead of English or both!
