In this section you will explore the world of biomedical therapies, more specifically pharmaceutical drugs, shock therapy, and psychosurgery. This area of therapy can be quite controversial, with many people arguing the polar opposites, either for or against their use. Whether these are useful alternatives, or additions, to therapy is debatable. Ask yourself what you know about these areas and if you support their use. After you have read this section, check to see if your opinions have changed.
