This section delves into the different types of stressors we may experience. Having a better understanding of the different types of stress can sometimes help us learn how to manage them better. In this part of the chapter you will also understand how stress affects the body. To really appreciate the effect stress can have on our overall health, it is important to learn how our bodies (biological bases) interpret stress. These interpretations can have the most dramatic effect on our everyday functioning and long-term health.
